This happened to me, go to seetings in nvidia shield, then apps,click kodi, force stop kodi, and while your there clear cache this should solve it.

That solved it.did not think the hide applied in search results. Thank you so much for your time not just solving this issue. But also for time you put into your build. In my opinion developers should charge subs fee for builds. You pay for Iptv so why not pay for builds.
