I have always recommended a device reboot ( unplug count to 20 plug back in ) at least once a month. I even do it with my Shield and I have very few problems , its worth a try

It means the Kodi repo is busy , force close then keep trying

Go to the addon and Versions and go back to the one from Kodi repo making sure you turn off auto update , this will fix it until there's a new update
