Widgets at top of pages

On an upgrade not a fresh install, widgets are missing at top of page for Trakt, Sports, Favorites. If you click any of the titles with the exception of Sports everything is in the files just not on the main screen heading. This is on a 3rd Gen Cube, latest 21 version of Kodi. Thoughts?

There are now up to 10 widgets to choose from. Click UP and select a widget to show...

When i follow that step on tv shows and pick say “ next episode” i get this screen

I just got a new phone today. I downloaded Kodi and installed the latest Diggz build 4k. I get no widgets on the addons menu. I have to go into my addons and run the addon from the list. How to get the widgets? Only TV Shows, Movies, and Weather have the widgets above.

Touch the area right above the home menu shown in red to view the widget menu

Thanks !! This worked on my iPad. It was driving me crazy trying to figure out what to do on the touch screen to show the widget selector.
