Brand Spanking New Out Of The Box Amazon Firestick 4K MAX
Developer Options On
Installed Downloader App/Used Downloader App to Install Kodi
Kodi Version - Android - Kodi v21.2 (Omega) - ARMV7A (32 BIT) - Installation successfull
Opened Kodi
Turned on System/Unknown Sources, Added source diggz123, Addons/Install From Zip File/repository-diggz-23.zip, Install From Repository/Diggz Repository/Program add-ons/ Chef Omega Wizard
When I go to install the Chef Omega Wizard, It then tells me the dependencies are script.modules.request is not available, and if I hit install it errors out with : "the dependency on scripts.modules.requests version 2.19.1 could not be satisfied"
I'm stuck, does anyone know why this is happening, and how I can fix it, cheers
Firestick 4K MAX script.modules.request not available [SOLVED]
Re: Firestick 4K MAX script.modules.request not available [SOLVED]
I saw the previous post on this, and the solution to that seemed to have been, force close kodi and reopen and try again, or unplug for 10 seconds then replug then try again, still getting the same not available messag
question, can i manually install it from mirrors.kodi.tv? would that be advisable? would that work? where would i find the right file?

Re: Firestick 4K MAX script.modules.request not available
ok. after a couple hours of force closing kodi on my firestick, and unplugging my firestick from power, and the script.modules.request still showing not available, and no response from anywhere (no throwing shade, people have lives, i get it)
this is what i did:
went to my windows 11 PC where the latest version of kodi was already installed and working fine
created a c:\temp directory, and shared it on the network
went to my firestick, opened up kodi, file manager, added source, browse, windows smb
chose my pc name from list of names of devices sharing files on my home network
put in my username and password (for me this was the same as my microsoft account)
list of shares popped up, chose the c:\temp hit ok
found the script.modules.request directory already installed on my windows pc at : \Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\script.module.requests\
copied the entire directory from it's root to c:\temp
in c:\temp right clicked on script.moudules.requests root and chose "compress to zip"
went back to my firestick
went to kodi
went to addons, install from zip, chose my pc as source, and then the temp directory, chose the script.modules.requests zip file
it installed
went back to install from repository, chose diggz, chose program add ons, chose chef omega wizard
it installed perfectly, then got the diggzxenon plus 4k skin from there
