If you change the priorities (or anything else) and save players, then update players, the ones you changed will be used, not the updated players.
Only if you Reset changed players, you can use updated players again.

You may also just delete players -eg with Kodi File Manager-, from TMDbH players folder:
/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.themoviedb.helper/players/
