Fix missing dependencies

Post by cg0 »

If you get an Inputstream Adaptive dependency missing -usually after installing a build, Diggz suggests:
Click Addons/Available updates and update all.
The reason I say this is because usually it means Autoruns did not finish updating. Autoruns automatically installs Inputstream when it updates.

If you get a "Failed to install a dependency" error while installing an addon, the following ways will work from Chef wizard addon to the last video addon that might need it.
1. The easiest way is to just restart your build every 5 minutes, until Kodi repo has less traffic, so the dependencies can be auto-updated.

2. Go to Addons > Search, type the addon name, then click on Dependencies.
Now you have to click on any dependency that doesn't mention "Installed", and install it.
When finished go back to addon and install it.
Video shows an example of Falcon.

3. Open Kodi repository from Addons > Install from repository, then go back and try installing the addon.

4. Go to Kodi repository like mentioned above, but right click -or long press- on Kodi repository, then update it.

5. Do a manual update going to Addons, press Left, click on "Check for updates", and wait.
