Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing issues with dependency errors during the initial installation wizard on my Google Streamer 4K. The installation process seems to stall specifically during the Sly Guy installation step.

Steps I've already tried:

Reinstalling Kodi
Clearing caches
Factory reset of the device
Usually, being patient during dependency installation helps, but this particular error persists. The installation keeps failing at the same point.

Would appreciate any tips or solutions to resolve these dependency issues. Has anyone else encountered this problem with Version 4.0 on Google Streamer 4K?
PC install and Shield TV were no issues at all. So all and all.... Very happy camper :-)

Thanks in advance for your help, and much appreciation to the dev team for their continued dedication to this project.

Not sure, but try installing Kodi from https://kodi.tv/download/android/ -ARMV7A 32 bit.

I was having a similar issue on one device. Make sure you clear cache BEFORE you delete and reinstall kodi. It made a difference for me. I also went back to the playstore to download. I didnt just click install after I deleted.

I would think a factory reset would have fixed it too but I didn't have to go that far. So maybe its something else.

Hopefully that helps if Chefs link didnt already.
