Open the wizard and go to Maintenance > Backup/Restore.
Existing backup location is "backups" in your Kodi Data folder, click on Change Backups Location to choose another.
You might have to use an android file manager to move the zip to another device.
You also might have to go to your device settings and allow Kodi to write to NAS (eg using a shield) to back up to NAS.
Example of backup - restore:
.
.
Another way is the way most builders use to create a zip file that the wizard will recognize.
Locate your Kodi data folder.
Inside your Kodi (or .kodi in Linux) folder there are various folders of your build.
You will need to use a zip app if you want to use it with a wizard -or zpaq or similar better compression than zip for storage.
You will need to get both addons and userdata folders to be compressed, nothing else. Test your archive that when it decompresses only addons and userdata folders are there.
Your zip, zpaq or other archive is ready, so put it somewhere outside Kodi folder or a build update will delete it.
To restore, extract your archive in your empty Kodi folder -make sure to delete all before extracting-, and start Kodi.
There is a chance that this way will produce errors if you try to restore a backup in different OSs, -meaning when builders upload such zips to the wizard it fixes them to work in all OSs.
Using the 1st way on top should work to restore to all OSs.
