TRAKT not checking episode not fixed by today's update(?)

Having suddenly been struck by TRAKT not marking off watched episodes, I was hopeful when I saw the Diggz Chef Wizard 8/1/24 AIO Update tonight.
But it did not fix my particular problem.
It does not matter if I manually select Mark Show as Watched, as although for a split second "flash" you will see a checkmark (all the checkmarks really), it then immediately goes back to showing nothing checked. SEE PICS.
The only way I have found to fix this tonight is if I manually select the dropdown "Trakt Options", and mark it as watched in there instead of DIRECTLY choosing the dropdown "Mark as Watched". (To get the pic of the episodes checked off I had to videotape it and then select only that frame, as there was no way to snap a pic in time for the "flash" on the TV). Anyway I'd prefer to use the direct dropdown choice "mark as watched" as it's so much faster. The Trakt Options seems to take a bit longer to execute.
As long as I'm at this post I will add that for some reason when I first start up Diggz I always need to sit there while it's "WORKING". Sometimes for 5 minutes it'll just spin and spin. It never used to do this so if you have any idea whats up, I'd appreciate some direction on that as well. (I am stuck running this old school on a Firestick 4K since my dedicated MacMINI HTPC froze up).
