Diggz on Steam Deck

Post by TCAgt »

I've been searching around for a solution to this, and maybe one can't be found. I installed Diggz Xenon Plus to my Steam deck and that worked, but I was trying to restore a backup from one of my other devices so as not to have to redo things. But I can't seem to be able to find where to put the backup file so that the wizard sees it. Can anyone point me in that direction or offer some help? Thanks in advance

You can set a new location for your backup.

OK, that helped. It sent me down the right path a little, and I have an answer. So see, Steam Deck protects its primary root partition. They mark it as read-only, so it took me a while to find the folder that you can copy the backup into and set it as the directory. For future reference the directory for the steam deck kodi is /home/desk/.var/app/tv.kodi/.local I put the backup there and set it as the backup directory. Then, I copied the backup to that folder, and everything worked correctly.
