Not Enough Space
Not Enough Space
Hey everyone,
Quick question:
I am using KODI on my OLED LG TV through Developer mode. No Android Box or anything.
Everything works great with Diggz Builds.
However, with LG TV, it has limited space (around 2.6Gb Free Space).
Which after a fresh install, it goes down to around 1.8 Gb or so.
My problem is, the more I use either FenFlix, Xenon or any minimalist build. ( I only use FEN ). My space gets eaten so quick. After few days, it goes down to 4mb and it makes it impossible at times to even open Kodi on my LG TV.
I try to run the Diggz Clear Package option. I even go to FEN/Tmdb and try to clear the cache and the Real Debrid Cache as well thinking it would solve the issue but I cannot pinpoint what is the culprit.
Is there anyway to know who is the culprit and also, find a way to not have any cache build up.
For those wondering, I do have an android with more space but on my second TV I rather use my TV .
Thank you all. I drives me crazy to delete KODI after a week and redownload it.
(btw TV is not ROOTED and cannot)
Thanks!!

Re: Not Enough Space
Most peeps with similar issues prefer to buy a cheap device -like a $20 Onn device.

Re: Not Enough Space
I get it. I'm simply curious what addon is eating that free space? I have a Shield TV i could use but I don't.
I simply wonder if it's FEN or what addon is doing that.

Re: Not Enough Space
Did you try clearing the Kodi application cache in your TV program manager?

Re: Not Enough Space
How about using that Shield TV . if it is on Wifi you need the 9.1.1 Hotfix https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/shield-tv/9/522242/shield-experience-upgrade-911-hotfix-image/

Sorry, it does use WebOS.The Chef wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2024 2:32 pmI dont know anything about your TV. I thought LG uses WebOS, not Android, so I dunno.
I can only delete an app but it doesn't give me a way to delete app cache in anyway beside deleting the app totally, which is 100% weird. I'll look into it more but yeah, I'm thinking perhaps it's the TV guides everytime loading up taking space everytime (?)
