Updating Xenon Builds

Is there a way to update the build without losing everything. Evrey time I update I have to start from scratch and reload everything, I just get a blank screen and have to go through the process of finding the other addons, adding them and reauthorizing etc. Is this normal? I use Asgard mostly and it is not in any of the builds that I can see also I have to re-add it as well every time.
Not sure if I am doing something wrong, I just click update and tats what happens. Thanks for the help!

Lol, when you say start from scratch, you mean you have to click on an addon to install it? Debrid and Trakt is saved already. If that what your complaining about, then yea, you have to click on the addon to install it the first time. If thats too hard for you, then dont update.

It already saves Youtube data, and of course its not going to save your skin changes. If you want everything to stay the same then dont update.

Thank you for the reply but I that is not what I mean, installing the add on is not the problem, I may need to do it to explain better , I have not been updating because of this and everything is fine so I can just leave it , but what I mean is I have to reinstall the whole thing from scratch as if I had never installed it before. I get a screen that says start here or something like that but I am unable to pick anything or set anything up so I erase everything and reinstall the whole package as if I have never had it on there. Was I am wondering if I can update it and not have to do that.
I am pretty savvy with these things I keep trying until I get it but in the past with other ones I could just update the program and ieverything would be there , I wouldn't be starting from the complete beginning.
That is why I am asking if maybe I am going something wrong. If this doesn't make asense I may have to try the update and give a play by play with screenshots.of what happens. I am sure I am just missing something simple.

Sorry, I dont know what you mean. Wat should happen is you get a build update available notification, you choose update, or you click Chefs wizard and choose a build, it installs the update and closes Kodi. You open Kodi. Thats it, no idea what else your trying to do or anything about "Start Here" message.
