addons vs Xenon Flavors vs Diggz Skins

I've been using Diggz Xenon with some addons for a while. Decided to do some poking around and am wondering what Xenon Flavors (skin options) would be used for and what going to the Diggz Skins Portal and switch to a different skin would buy me. A little explanation would be appreciated.

From what I see Xenon Flavours are Xenon skin forks aka builds customized for specific usage, other builds are made by different skins altogether.
That means they are all different builds, while Flavours are based on the same skin -as other builds in Xenon Plus v2.1 like the ones on the pic.
